Major emachine problem

I have a emachine ,about 3 years old. It worked great until I moved to the country
and have to use a dial up service .. now, it will be running along fine and all of a sudden ,
it will just crash, the screen goes black , it cuts off but immediately turns back on.
The dial up service takes forever to connect and about 50 percent of the time I receive
the message that says server can not be found.. it will say it is connected to the
internet but my provider can not be found..
any help is appreciated..
