The fact you can plant 8 C4 explosives if you wanted to and basically guarentee the round.
 
Seems more like a real life situation. If I am going to go through the hassle of setting up a bomb I want there to be many.

I don't have one clip to go into battle, nor do I take one bomb to the bomb site :)
 
They should have golf clubs in the game so you can punt the armed bombs around to the opposing team.

Yeah, but the CT team only has to defuse one to win the round. I don't think cheats need to be on either. The only command you need is "buy c4"

if i was a T, i'd just say screw you guys and send 1 guy with the bomb to the town down the road to plant and boom. i win. but aside from that. dont take pictures on servers with cheats enabled.
 
Originally in CS you could plant it anywhere. Changed sometime around 4.0 I guess. Was pretty cool. It would end the round when it blew, but was good as a last ditch thing when there were only 2 T's left and several CT's. Just plant it in a hidden spot and fall back and let the CTs try to kill you. They'd end up killed in the blast.

T's would lose the round, but the CTs would be killed and out their weps.

the command "buy c4" will give you c4 in cs source, without cheats enabled.

It might not be an "exploit" but it is a problem when all the t's can spawn c4.

some dude was doing this in the server earlier today. I think there is more to this trick then just typing in the correct code into the console though.

He was doing it on a much much smaller level though (two bombs) and it didnt matter b/c of the crazy teamwork we had (played for a few hrs lost only one match :D )
 
hehe thats great... is it possible for the counter-terrorists to spawn c4? Cause if you could just plant it somewhere and once it goes off the round would theoretically end, yes? Not like the counter-terrorists are going to defuse a bomb that would win them the match (it being out of the designated bomb area)

anyway... lol :)
 
just type

buy c4

into the console and you get c4 people bind this to a key then just spam it.
 
I went in to three servers today to find the Terrorists throwing c4 everywhere.
 
Is it really that hard to make a game where people don't constantly cheat?

I know there are cheats in other games, but damn...this has to be the most exploited game in the history of the industry.
 
Yup, I was wrong, you dont' have to have cheats enabled to buy C4. Not exactly a big problem since CTs only have to defuse one to win, but I guess it can be an annoyance.
 
that's pretty amazing that valve forgot to disable that after, i assume, they were using it to debug the bomb in CS: S
 
My bad, I thought it required sv_cheats to be enabled.

Valve released an update to fix it.

well it is the most popular multiplayer game ever, and the average age of people playing it i'd say is around 17-18, so there's going to be lots of cheats/exploits being used.
 
yep, the c4 thing is pretty funny, but what is even funnier is that they included a wallhack! In the debugger menu, you can turn off certain things and one is the world, so you can see through all the walls. shft+f1 while in game.
