MAJOR AIW 9800 pro problems

Ok, i just installed it, and updated the drivers and reinstalled about a hundred times. It has a bunch of lines acroos the screen...like scan lines but vertical and worse. Any ideas why this could be? incompatibility?

right now my system is:

giga-byte 8knxp
2.8ghz prescott
AIW 9800pro
SATA 120gb WD
2xpc3200 512mb Kingston HyperX

no, cause right now i'm using a diff. card and it's fine

that is a result of your vid card pumping too fast of a refresh rate to your monitor, set the refresh rate to the mid range of the refresh rate max. spec. but try to get it off of 60htz, to 70 - 80 if the monitor can be adjusted.

i've tried it at 60, 70, 72, 75, and 85 hz...still the same

this is what it looks like...the lines flicker a bit...yellow and green

Probably a bad card. Make sure you plugged in the molex on the card.

I like the artwork BTW. Where is it from?

molex is in...i HOPE its not a bad card

i fixed it!!1 looks like it was a heat issue. I took off the heatsink, put on some arctic silver 5, all fixed
