I don't know about the rest of the country, but it's getting damn hot here in Phoenix allready:mad:

Pull out the air bottles and git them heatsinks cleaned out!

I've lost two duallies to heat in the last couple days.

And no, I'm NOT gonna hit the AC in March fer crissakes:D

It's still pretty cool here in Minnesota. ~25F in the morning and ~40-50F in the evening. I would like it to be much warmer so I can bike and rollerblade again.

in miami we almost hit 40F this winter!!!

;)

My main rig's radiator needs a good airblasting, indeed. It's still -10C here in Rochy, so I'm not too worried, especially with the external intake :D

You guys are killin' me.

Last weekend it hit 93 outside (which means my office was near 100). Swollen caps, unstable cpus, cranky wife, blue screens.....'tis the season from hell:D

Don't forget to underclock your video cards in your dedicated folders! You can save case heat and some power by doing this. Saying that you should underclock something is almost painful, but in this case it might help keep folding production up and power bills down, so that's a good thing. :)

Guilty! :( i just can't stand temps above 80 in the house unless in the computer room! (yes, I am a wuss! :p ) Fortunately, two of my folders recently found new homes (where at least one is still for sure chugging away), and my office got a revamp, so there is some room to expand again. I think I would like to try my first dually for my next system. Also fortunately, most of my folders are borgs that do not directly affect my utility bills.

Unfortunately, there was a conversation yesterday that started with; "Do you know why this machine has firedaemon installed on it?", so I have had to shut down a couple of those borgs. I think that I might just try to get them set up as a straight service though, since they are all running Win2KPro. I really need to keep them running until I can at least hit

Oh yeah, it really is hot here in the Phoenix (Chandler) area! :D
