Maintaining WC?

I'm thinking about WCing, but I am a little worried about maintenence. I don't wanna have to pull my rig out and mess with it every week. Once you have everything in correctly, do you have to do anything special to maintain it?

I'm thinking of going with TDX blocks, BIX, a small pump (any suggestions?), and either a T line or single 5.25 resevior.

System will probably be a Intel 550, DFI LanParty, and XFX 6800GT.
 
First suggestion would be AMD over Intel. ;)

On topic though:
People say it's best to flush the system every 6 months. Other than that you shouldn't have to touch it (other than to get rid of dust depending on your room like you would with air cooling).
 
you don't really have to flush it, except for the first fill. That should be removed after about two months. After that, clean as necessary. Absoloutely NO cleaning is required wich Triple-distilled water (not even gases dissolved in there), but depending on base water and additives, you may have to do it once a year or so, when the gunk starts building up.
 
I have a related question actually.
When you do clean it out, do you ever open up the blocks and clean their insides too?

This is one reason I'm looking more at the TDX than Swiftech blocks, since I don't believe you can open the Swiftechs up. Not the only reason, but I'd still like to know.
 
I open the blocks, flush with a solution of citric acid, rinse, repeat, then put them back together.
