Iv got an old SiS P4S8X Asus board, and It says it can go up to 2.53GHZ and beyond with the CPU. What does "beyond" range to?

I figure the description is older, so 2.5ghz was probably the fastest at the time.
 
Fastest official FSB on that MB is 133/533 mhz so a 3.06GHZ Northwood would be the fastest CPU you could put in there.. but those are hard to find and expensive.. Cheaper to buy a new motherboard and a faster CPU. There are some faster Prescotts that use a 533mhz FSB, but I doubt they would work in that MB.
