For now I am looking for a main hard drive, was curious if anyone would use this as one ?
I need to stick at $99 free shipping so please let me know asap as ready to order when I get some answers. Thanks

The Samsung F3 was a price performance leader before the price increases. Excellent reputation and quick.
Seagate owns the Samsung Hard Drive Division now.
Besides Seagate on the label (in small print) and the one year warranty, no one is certain what if anything has changed.
Hitachi I think still offers 3 year warranties, and WD Caviar Blacks 5 year.
FWIW, I bought one a few days ago. At The Moment it seems as good a price for a likely good 1 TB Hard Drive as you are likely to find.
$80 after the $30 EMCNDNJ42 discount till 6/7 or sell out.
