Warning: The name is so I don't get jabbed for copyright infringement on a personal use project.

Okay guys. This is my first case mod that hasn't been stock parts stuck together. I made a comment to a friend the other day about wanting to have a side business building computers. He asked me if I wanted to build really awesome computer, really awesome looking computers, or both? I said it was a little of both... and then we started running. I come to find out that my friend Echo was big into case mods 10 years ago when it was a lot less popular than it is today. He and I started brain storming and I pulled out an old computer from my closet... It isn't a functional pc at the moment (not worried about that right now!) but it had this really ugly case. I'm usually all for simplicity and clean lines over flashy and shiny... But this case has always annoyed the heck out of me. Here is the offensive beast now.

So that random Z on the front really had to go... It was replaced with...

So the rest of the front panel door is going to turn into a fireworks display... I will wire everything into the back of the door panel and through the hinge. The design itself will be made out of holes drilled into the door.... Anyone have suggestions on what kind of lighting will give me a multi colored flashing effect but is easy enough for a reasonably smart person to loop into a computer system?

Just realized I should be posting all of this in the worklog section. Pardon the mistake!

Interesting project! I like the Mickey grille. Unique!

Just message Kyle and he can move this over to the worklog section.
