Heya people.. I just sold my x800XL to a buddy of mine for $350CDN, and I bought a BFG 7800GT and a new DFI S754 Mobo instead (can't afford new CPU just yet). So yeah.. any suggestions on which drivers to use? I've been away from nVidia since the GeForce 2 era.

81.84. Unfortunately crashes my BF2 but only with driver forced AF/AA, not in game.

Hehe... perfect  *Laughs like a maniac* <------------ Gotta play the whole 'nVidia' role now! ;)

81.84 Betas are outstanding for me. w00t for dual core multi threaded performance increases!

Those that driver benefit HT and my 6600GT aswell?

The 6 series in general saw a 5% improvement in some games and benchmarks. I don't remember hearing any optimizations for Hyper Threading though.

I would say that HT constitues as another core. At least in the eyes of the Drivers. I would give them a shot. I Can gaurentee you wont see a decrease, but they are Betas....

Oh ok, but does this benefit 6000 series cards thought such as 6600GT and 6800GT or is it only the G70s.

Like I said, im sure it beffits it. Not as much as a 7 series card, but im sure improvements are there.

oh ok thanks, ill give it a shot.
Seriously, These Drivers rock. I have found nothing but good things from these from everyone around. Except for Guild Wars textures suck... but no biggy.
