Anyone else have problems with macromedia ads in the forums crashing XP? Every now and then ive had an error box pop up saying there was a problem with macromedia and it needs to close, then XP errors out. Its only since SP2 but that could be a coincidence.

I uninstalled macromedia (i have version 7.0.19.0 installed) and reinstalled it but it still happens.

one of my rigs has that issue too sometimes and only at [H]

Many others are having the same problem.
It's a known issue with the SP2 .
Don't know what the fix is.
Do know that once again Bill has insured that IT people will still have their jobs for the next couple of years

I have not had a problem like this at all.

Does it crash when the ad loads, or when it reaches a certain point? Is it a certain ad that does it?

Opus said it's a known SP2 issue, but it could be a result of shoddy programing in flash.

Great.

Now PC's have seizures.

"My PC crashes on a certain ad/page/function."

A friend of mine has a sister that has a seizure everytime she sees a red car. <True story

Maybe PC's are getting too smart....
