MacPro Update timing

I am thinking about ordering the new MacPro at work. I have been getting by with a MBPr for a while but I would like to upgrade. The issue is, I am not sure when Apple will update the Mac Pro....I assume Dec 2015 since it was launched in Dec 2013.

Does anyone have any info on this? What was changed in Dec 2014 compared to Dec 2013 model.

If there are any radical changes coming up, I could hold out until the Dec 2015 model comes out.
 
There haven't been any changes to the configuration options for the nMP (late 2013 model) since launch.

Other than bumping the GPUs up a bit, there's not much new Xeon-wise at the moment that'd make an update very interesting. Most speculation seems to center on support for 5K displays which, short of doing something custom, is going to be dependent on Thunderbolt 3 (coming with Skylake, I believe).

That'd put the update into 2016, though it'd then be a pretty comprehensive one (new GPUs, TB3, 5K support, Skylake etc.).
 
I'm currently holding out for 5K TB displays with support on the MacPro then I'll finally drop my 2011 iMac

But is looking like it could be end of 2015 or even 2016 :(
