does anyone know what this stop error means? I could be surfing the net or i could be doing pretty much anything and this blue screen of death will come up, it has happened to numerous hard drives and it seeme to kill them...does anyone know what thsi means and how to fix it?
 
I dont think its your hard drive but rather your ram. run memtest or prime95 to test.

how does it kill your hard drive? system specs? is it the same one as the one in ur sig? maybe its not the ram :confused:

yeah the messagbe does say to disable all cacheind ect. and its the same system in the sig.

ill run memtest eventually.
 
NVM i found the problem is that when i have the side panel on my case for usm reason soem wire must ground tiself therefore shutting down the HDD.,...i only wish i could find the spot :mad:
