Machine won't post with memory slots filled

The server in my sig will not post with all four banks filled with memory. I tried running each 1GB stick individually and it posts. I've tried running different combinations of the four sticks in sets of three with one of four slots empty and it posts. With all four sticks the machine never posts. i.e. I never see the Asus logo on boot up. I just started to use the machine today. Before that I hadn't powered on the machine for two weeks. It used to have Linux Mint on it, but I converted it to a server today.

Is it a bad motherboard? Memory?

Thanks!

Try bumping up the RAM voltage or voltage for the RAM controller?

I'll try that in the morning... the default I believe is 1.8v... so should I try 2.0v?

Well I bumped up the voltage and it posts now with all four dimms. Thanks for the suggestion! :D

From what I have read, a lot of boards will need a voltage increase when they have 4 or more slots filled.
