2500k
Intel z77dz-70k board
16gb (4x4gb) g-skill ddr3
3 drives
No external GPU (sold them)
1kw Rosewill Gold rated psu with good Johnny Guru review (can't recall exact model at the moment)
Was working fine the other day, shut it down normally. Go to turn it on tonight, 3 beeps no post. Hit the bios reset button on the back. Same thing. Disconnected drives.
No change. Pulled bios battery, waited, put back in. Nothing.
Post code is briefly 46, then 45, then the beeps.
Shows up as memory error from my googling. Pulling RAM gives code 22 (I think?). Pulling either bank, 45. Swapping sticks around, no change. I guess the board died? Can't believe all my RAM went bad at once.
Sadly people are insane and charge the same for a used z77 as a current mid range board, and I can't justify the cost of replacement if my RAM may be bad. Guess my "2-3 weeks to save up for a new GPU" just turned in to "2+ months to save for a whole new system."
I have truly shit luck these days.
