HDCP really isn't anything new. In fact its prob a good thing that the new Macbooks support it.

If they didn't they'd never be able to play (legally) any HD content such as blu-ray.

I wish people would stop saying <X> "comes with DRM". It has the ability to play DRM'd media, yes. That doesn't mean it comes with DRM. That isn't even really applicable for what is being discussed. It bugged me when people said it about Vista and it bugs me now. Just people jumping on the FUDwagon.
