Yes, its called OnyX. Great program, somewhat unnecessary imo but if you've been feeling sluggish it can help out.

what does it actually do
It allows you to manually run some of the maintenance scripts that normally run in the background once a week or once a month. This is useful for laptops since they tend to be off in the middle of the night when these type of things normally run.
