Macbook pro and pc on u2711 question.

Hi everyone. Im a proud owner of u2711 and i love every single time i work with it. My only problem so far is how hard it is to read text when using pc on this monitor. Im using dual link dvi so im running at full resolution. I know its a high resolution monitor but when i connect my macbook pro via mini DP to DP its just so much pleasure to read text.

Is there a way to make my pc look like the text on my macbook pro in u2711?
 
do you have clear type enabled in windows?

sounds like you have it disabled. mac's typically have "clear type" on by default to make it look soft and round.
 
I played with the clear type already but still i cant get it as nice and rounded as the text on macbook.
