Macbook for University?

I'm a HS student, planning to go to university, and I was wondering if a Macbook would be best. I'm planning on doing a lot of MS Office work and graphical design, and I don't want to have to deal with issues like the upkeep of Windows (Love it though, but in University, there is no time for that). I do have Mac experience, so it's not going to be a totally new experience, though I don't know a lot of stuff about it... Anyone able to point me to a site that might have a full tutorial of Mac OSX?

I'm planning to buy one after OSX 10.5 comes out.

Opinions are welcome, flaming and turning this into a Mac vs. Windows thread is not.

I personally would go for the MBP 15" but to each his own. Either way you go, I highly recommend signing up for Apple Developer Connection (ADC). Students can get it for $99 and you get a one time discount of 20% (not sure if its on top of the education discount but either way its a lot of money saved).

Getting used to OS X is pretty easy. If you can handle Windows or any other OS you will find adapting to be pretty quick and painless. Well, I did anyway. Mac Rumours seems to have a pretty good guides section and active helpful forums.

10.5 is coming around in October now; and you'll probably just want a machine right away.

My MacBook is the most reliable thing I have here with me at school; it's the best thing I've brought with me.

The MBP is also an amazing machine; but the portability of the standard MacBook is perfect.
