mac se mod

"Bumping" is for FS/FT/WTTB threads and not modding or anything else. If you want help on this ask specific questions and you'll get answers but if you just bump we don't know what to do since it's just a bump.

as i found out from crim, "bump" means that you send your thread to the top of the "new posts" lists.

since this will be my first mod, i am wanting plenty of help, so i want this to stay at the top, or near it.

actually posting at all makes it go to the top of the forum. Have you even started this mod or are you just bullshitting?

why don't you get a normal PSU and drill it onto the outside of the mac case?

THAT was my point.... You have much to learn my young Pad-o-wan..... :D

Like I said, check out that site with the silver Mac SE. He used standard PC parts and a std PSU. There's a tab at the top of his site labeled "Assembly", basically walks you through the whole build. You gotta ba able to answer SOME of your questions there with that write-up.

read thru the whole silver mac thing... not much help. cool tho.

and the psu i'm getting is ~$29. not sure yet who pays shipping, so it might be more. but you can't beat $29 for a 300w psu w/ a uv orange 1120mm fan and the leftover spray paint from the fan (which was orig. clear). teehee. that's why i'm not starting with a regular fan.

and actually, if you look closely, the psu was bolted to the inner side, not the rump. the rump appears to be the remains of a matx case. i'm going to follow the same pattern there... picked out a rather cool looking ahanix case i'll use. it's cheap too, which matters.

this thread is now dead as a doorknob... i have needed to do this for some time.

if a moderator happens across this thread, please lock it.

So after all these pointless posts, you didn't even start your mod? Starhawk, stop spamming.
