Mac or PC

I am a PC fanboi for life

but.

my stepfather just bought me a 32gb iPad. This is my first apple product ever and tbh i love it! Airvideo is an AWESOME app and its great for watching movies/tv shows in bed. i can sit my arse on the couch while the missus plays her games on my pc and browse etc as well.
I am a PC gamer forever and i doubt i would ever buy a mac laptop/desktop but i love my iPad
 
PC. I know Macs are nicer, sleeker, they say it's more reliable but, I think they're expensive. Plus, where's the fun? I don't see anyone building a high end Mac for gaming. Overclocking a Mac to 4.0ghz speeds. Personally, I like to hack away at hardware and modify things.
 
May I ask why you're asking this question here?

The majority of the people who'll respond will say that they're PC fans.
 
... Except the results are known to be disproportionate here. The majority of the users in this particular forum ask for help and/or recommendations on PC parts and systems. We also have a separate forum, Apple Products, for those who want to talk mostly Apple.

I'm not trying to be an ass, but you aren't going to get the "bipartisan" results that you expect here.

To answer your original question, I'm a PC guy. I don't believe that Macs are worth the money. I'll say no more.

When I'm buying, it's PC for desktops and Mac for laptops. My last 4 contract jobs issued me PC laptops, the latest of which is an HP Envy 14. This Envy is as close to a MacBook Pro as I've ever seen. It's just as capable, but cost about $500 less than a comparably equipped MBP.
 
I perfer PC.. But in the spirit of being [H] most are going to say PC because we for the most part like to play with shit & tweak it.. Mac's dont exactly get along with that frame of mind.

This. You aren't exactly going to be questioning which motherboard to use, or better cooling solutions to improve your overclock, or whether tri-sli is worth it for the gaming performance it delivers,when talking about Apple.

That said, I'm finding myself to be primarily a Linux guy these days.

Pretty much.

I love my MacBook Pro. Being able to use OS X for my daily use and then boot into Windows (which runs natively, no emulation crap) for gaming is awesome. But this site is mainly for DYI'ers. And the majority of Macs are not very customizable as far as building your own system goes.
 
DIY Enthusiast who likes to "tinker" and do a ton of different things: PC

Someone who isn't interested in anything DIY, perhaps isn't savvy enough to avoid malware using only common sense: Mac

They both have their places. For mom and grandma, a Mac isn't a bad choice. But for guys like us, might as well go PC. Granted, I'm talking desktops - a MacBook isn't a bad laptop choice.

But yes, with all of that said, I'll agree that obvious troll is quite obvious.
