Hello, I am split between two laptops - the 13 inch pro and the 15 inch macbook pro.

We're looking at these specs in the 13 inch

2.53 ghz intel 2
8 GB DDR3 Ram
375 GB HD 5400 RPM
Geforce 9400 graphics

15inch:

2.8 ghz
4 GB DDR3 RAM
500 GB HDD 7200 RPMS
Geforce 9400 + 9600 GT (two?)

I'm downgrading for mobility, and was wondering how much of a performance downgrade the 13 inch is compared to the 15. I'm looking for mobility but if the 15 inch is about the same in mobility / size should I just get it instead?

I had a 13 inch Blackbook and I got annoyed with the small screen. However I do spreadsheets.
I suggest you look at the Apple store's refurbished section - there are some really good deals and they come with a full warranty with the option of Applecare.
I sold the 13" Blackbook in June and bought a 2009 15" MBP.

Its nice to actually be able to see what you're doing.
The Unibody is awesome. When I pick the machine up, I don't hear the squeaking, and plastic creaking of other laptops.
