Was all set to get the 2490WUXi-BK-SV but read in another forum that the Mac with the ATi Radeon HD 4870 is having compatibility issues with NEC monitors. Users are saying if they boot up Mac first then turn on the NEC things are fine, but when the Mac goes to sleep and re-awakes the NEC monitor won't re-awake. One user said NEC is aware of the issue but still hasn't been solved. Anybody here have new information on this issue, whether it has been solved yet or whether it can be solved? All the users in that thread loved their NEC monitors and are currently living with the connection issue because they don't want to give up their NEC monitors.
