Howdy,
So I am trying to decide between the following two machines: I have a hard cap budget of 3k. Any thoughts. Hard drive and Optical drive are better in the XPS. The XPS also has a "gaming" video card. But the new M90 has Duo Core and a workhorse of a vid card. Any thoughts would be great. Anyone had any experience with the FX 2500M?
Thanx

whats gonna be 'new' about it?

The date from "official sources" for the release of the new XPS M1710 is April 14th. New important changes worth mentioning are duo core and 7900 GTX go GPU.

the quadro card is for OpenGL 3d rendering, NOT gaming.

So what do you pan to do , game or do 3d work with Maya / 3d Studio and other OpenGL rendering programs?
