Was wondering if any of you eMachines owners can help me out here. As you probably have seen from my previous posts you know I have a m6805. I bought it about 2 months ago. I am starting to have a growing problem with it.

The left side of the screen where it attaches to the base (hinge) is starting to feel loose. I can move the LCD in and out a few millimeters. It is not much movement but it is noticeable. Is this a symptom of the "cracked hinge" problem?

Anyone returned theirs because of this?

Ok, I just sent it in to get repaired. $165 total for a fixed screen hinge, BIOS upgrade and a new keyboard. They keyboard is $165. Labor and both ways shipping is free!

Laptop shipping box came to me next day air!

Considering it was my fault that I spilled water on the keyboard and that I had to pay for it...still!

Anyone know about emachines turn around time?
