i was about to purchase a logitech mx510 from newegg, and i realized it does not appear to have buttons where the left-click and right-click buttons usually are on a mouse. are they still where your index and middle fingers fall, or are they on the side?

hahaha...

just so you're not dissatisfied with the mouse, try one in a store. a mouse isnt one of those things you can order off the net and be sure you're gonna like it. may have an odd feel for your hand.

that said, the MX 500/700/900 series have the buttons underneath the silver finger sections. there is no separated button, but pressing the silver fingers on the right or left will depress a button underneath the unsupported plastic piece.


edit: so yes, they are on the standard place on a mouse :p
