Hello, been a while since I've been around, but:

I've been having problems with my M-Audio Revo 7.1 sound card. I can't seem to get a set of drivers installed that will work. They all seem to "not support" my card. For instance, when loading iTunes, a box will pop up stating (and I paraphrase) "the sound is unsupported and playback might not occur." I've tried multiple different drivers, each with the same effect. The device was removed from Device Manager and the computer rebooted to the same lack of any effect.

The only thing I haven't done is used the original CD that came with it - I can't seem to locate it...

Thanks much

If you are using Vista you are SOL. They don't seem to give a crap and haven't even acknowledge that there MIGHT be drivers for it.

No, No. I have WinXP Pro SP2. I just can't get drivers to work. Windows just happily informs me there's a problem.

uninstall drivers by add/remove programs, turn computer off, pull out card. they put it in another pci slot, and turn on computer, reinstall the drivers (Continue Installation Anyway for that popup, yadda yadda)

make sure your onboard sound's off if you've cleared the bios sometime.

hope you get it worked out, if not, screw m-audio. yes, i'm one of those people with the revo7.1 and vista that m audio decided to screw over for buying their product. now i'm on the onboard realtek.

bastards.
