Im not sure if it that got corrected in Version 2.0 but right now testing in very low volume and they are about equal.

I also left the speakers on all day to see how "Hot" they get and don't feel them hot at all. The left speaker where the amp is at is warm at best.

I have that same issue. When the volume on the speaker is turned low, more sound comes out of the left speaker. If I turn it up and lower the volume in Windows, it's fine.
 
SixFootDuo just went full Bose in this thread. You never go full Bose.
