LX3 file transfer help

Hi all!

I just bought a new panasonic LX3 to replace my LX2.
now with the lx2 i was always able to move the pictures from the cam onto the pc with the usb cable connection.
now with the lx3 i have to copy them an delete them in the camera since i get the message that the card is write protected. i double checked the protection lever on the card and tried it with a different card. but nothing helps.

any help would be appreciated.
