LUXA2 - Thermaltake HTPC

They do look pretty nice, but if you do a straight euro to dollar conversion of what they cost in Europe they are a little steep. The LM200 Touch is about $775 (again just by doing a conversion).

They have not yet been released.

Just a guess, but I would think the non-touch versions may sell for between $300 - $350.

The Touch version would probably sell for $550 - $650 because it has a 7" 1920 x 1080 touch screen.

Will the Touch version actually be useful? Don't know. That's cause wireless keyboards and mice allow you to control the HTPC from a distance.

To me it's like "is spending an extra $200 - $300 (maybe more) worth it to impress my friends who would eventually get used to the screen and just treat it like any other ordinary HTPC.

The only one I like is the LM100 Mini but I am worried about a couple of things:
1.) Completely wasted space and money on a crappy LCD.
2.) Cheap material used. I just know they're going to feel real cheap.
3.) Cost. I just know Thermaltake is going to charge a lot for a case that should be a $100 or less.

Yeah, I'm only interested in the LM100 mini.
I think it looks good, but price point is going to be critical here.

Would like to see these in person though.
