Lucky draws restricted to US?

I've recently noticed that the lucky draws on the board are all restricted to either US, or NA recently. As someone from Europe I feel really bad about that we don't even get a chance.
Previously not all of these were restricted. There were at least a few that were open to the rest of the world or Europe.

Are these restrictions made by the sponsor who gives the hardware? Or H simply don't want to bother with shipping abroad?

Because if it is the latter, I think most people would appreciate to be included even if we have to pay for shipping.
 
Could be due to the extra paperwork for customs forms, and shipping costs were probably a consideration.
 
My guess is taxes, customs, and legal stuff.
 
Our past experiences with shipping lucky draws abroad is why we no longer do this. Shipments get lost, people get pissed, then we end incurring tons of extra costs trying to give something away for free. We do not limit your ability to enter from outside the US, but we are only going to ship to US addresses. If you want to then handle the international shipping headaches, you are welcome to do so.
