LTT TrueSpec Cables

yeah thats a way better price than i was expecting based on all their other shit. might have to splurge and try one some time...

Yep, if I had a need for some quality cables, I would go this route.

If I needed a cable I would definitely consider it.

I love how it has the max speed right on the connectors. I could see that saving a headache in the future.

I dunno, I'm not sold on $39.41 20cm usb cable (shipping and tax). Sorry
For what it is, that being 240w PD and 40gbps, it is going to cost a lot. Both high power and high data rate cost more money because they need better cabling. The PD stuff is going to need thicker copper and better insulation for higher power, and the signaling needs much tighter tolerances on the wires (as well as probably thicker copper).

Cable Matters off Amazon, you can confirm if their cables are certified as well for the ones that claim they are certified. All i have been using for 2 years now and flawless

Filter for Cable Matters Inc.

From the LTT video, I don't think certification really means that much.

Prob saying that so he can sell his overpriced cables.....

They are pretty reasonably priced also. Rather buy them from LTT then playing Russian roulette with cables from Amazon.
Yeahh, I've gotten screwed on the amazon cable roulette before.

I was really surprised at the price, I thought they were gonna be like double from the way they talked about it on WAN show. LTT's products tend to be on the pricier side, but I figure most people watching him work in IT & stuff so they have the sort of income to afford it. I got the WAN hoodie recently and its alright, wish I could have gotten the v2 version but I was a broke college student at the time.

It was cool to see LTT's video over the cables and hear him talk about it on the WAN show. There is a lot of engineering that happens for these cables, I actually work in the communications cable industry so I really enjoyed his coverage over it.

I'd be interested in getting cables with them next time I make an order from them, shipping is brutal though and I haven't had the best experience with shipping and their customer support either.

skip through and look at the pretty xrays pics. ;)
tldw; "its good and up to spec."
Here is the actual link to the lumafield scans (These were posted by LTT back when the cables first came out):

They went over this in the WAN show, its a good listen I'd recommend. Lots of engineering goes into these cables.

Wish they did DisplayPort and HDMI cables instead. USB cables are no big deal for me. If he does dp and HDMI I would have for sure bought some from him. His trust me bro guarantee is pretty good.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are coming in the future.

For those depends on the distance you need. I find the certified ones seem to be good at shorter distances, their certification process isn't as big an issue as USB-IF. For longer, go for fiberoptic. It is cheap enough these days to be worth it to just solve the issues.

I do wish other brands put usb gen or pd spec on the cable so I didn't have a bunch of usb c cables I can't remember if they are usb2.0 or usb 4.0 or somewhere in between. I might actually buy some of these to avoid the headache of digging through cables.
