Hello folks,

That's right, this may seem a little weird, but I'm breaking the asus p55t2p4 out of retirement and putting a k6-2 500mhz in it. (google asus p55t2p4 for more info, I'm not going to link to the hardware review site that has the info on this since they're in competition with [H] :) ) I'd like to get a decent amount of memory in it, too, so I'm looking for 4x128mb EDO 72pin SIMMs to stick in this board (hopefully matched if possible). And before you flame me saying this board only supports up to 64mb or 128mb - google it and read the results, you'll find by matching this board with the k6-2 500mhz it will support that much RAM. So start digging through your closets and old hardware boxes and see what you can find! Thanks!

Most people aren't aware that they made 128 meg EDO SIMMs. But good luck with your search. This time in 2001 I had a P55T2P4 with a K6-2+ 475 and 192 megs of EDO as my primary system.

In case you don't know, there is a patched BIOS available here that will display the correct speed at 500, and offers better support for K6-2 and K6-2+ CPUs.
