LSI HBA TRIM Support Issue

I have an IBM ServeRAID M1015 that's modified to be an LSI 9211-8i with the newest IT firmware. 3 SSDs are connected (as shown in my signature) & work quite well through it.

What daunts me is the fact that the Intel SSD seems to receive TRIM/garbage collection commands just fine but the other 2 SSDs don't. As far as I understand it, the 9211-8i doesn't have TRIM support but yet I'm seeing it work with 1 of 3 SSDs. Can anyone clarify this conundrum?

If all of this winds up being a convulted mess, what is the best HBA solution that has TRIM support & doesn't cost a whole month's paycheck?

I appreciate any feedback.

Its real odd since I've noticed a slowdown with the 2 fastest SSDs but the slowest SSD is actually able to be optimized. I wish I knew why & how.
