It blows chunks. What ever happened to using an actual BIOS configuration utility?

Does anyone know how to disable this / get into a normal BIOS config on this card? My options during post are Ctrl-W for webBios, and Ctrl-somthing else for "basic CLI prompt"..

No, unless both your BIOS and the LSI card support UEFI HII, then you can do the configuration within motherboard BIOS.
To enter WebBIOS it should be Ctrl+H. Ctrl+Y for CLI.
I personally prefer the WebBIOS UI than the "BIOS configuration UI."
LSI has changed the configuration interface to "BIOS configuration UI" in its SAS3 cards.

Cheers! I appreciate the info. That's unfortunate - the Dell PERC UI's really spoiled me :C

The CLI is actually pretty sweet - you get MegaCLI and the other utils (don't use those really) right in a shell. :D I wound up using the CLI to create my volumes. The WebBIOS is just .. so clunky and slow :C
