LSI 9261-8i compatible with P67 motherboards?

Is the LSI MegaRAID 9261-8i card compatible with P67 motherboards? I was planning on running this card on an Asus P8P67 Pro motherboard, but I have read that LSI's 6Gb/s MegaRAID cards do not work on P67 motherboards.

Can anyone confirm or deny this? Thank you.

It is!

I struggled with this one as well. There is an obscure BIOS option to make it work,

In the BIOS under the Boot Menu, set
"Option ROM Messages" to "Force BIOS"
