I had to stop folding because it caused my Athlon XP 2500+ (stock) temps to go up to 50C. Any suggestions on how do reduce the temp (without buying a new HS/HSF)?

vent the case, lap the heatsink, better thermal compound, clean the inside and grills and fands, improve circulation in the case, and since when is 50c hot???

take off the side of the case and get a large desk fan and blow it in the mobo's general direction? :D

50C is by no means hot. If you're not comfortable with it, you should be.

Though since this is a performance forum - get a real heatsink and fan and call it a day.

50C on an Athlon under load isn't overly hot. However, being a cool nut myself you could probably bring that down somewhat without a lot of work or expense. You didn't say what you had for cooling other than "stock", but what does that mean? How many fans do you have working in what configuration? Perhaps adding a fan or two, maybe an intake and an exhaust might drop them somewhat for you. Something almost certain to help would be cut a blowhole in the top and stick a 120mm fan exhausting, quiet yet very effective.
