Lowered timings; no performance increase?

I brought my two gigs of gigaram from 2.5-3-3-7 @ 2.6V to 2-3-2-5 with 2.9 Volts at 200mhz. I was thinking that maybe the lowered timings were too agressive and it was causing misses or something. But i ran Super Pi, the everest RAM benches, and 3D mark and saw no performance gains in any of them. Any ideas? Maybe i have a bottleneck somewhere?

p4s generally do better with higher clocked ram regardless of the timings.. therefore you would be better off doing something like 240; 2.5-3-3-7 instead of the tighter timings at 200..

so just raise the fsb instead of tightening the timings and see if that works better...

I was wondering about that. Thankyou.
