Lower refresh on 710T when drivers installed

ok heres the prob.. i setup my 710T, let windows detect it and install default drivers... i was able to run 75hz in digital mode, which i confirmed by playing a game with vsync on and verifying that the game was running at 75fps.. now, i can't put the monitor above 60 after installing the drivers that came with the monitor.. i tried switching the driver of the monitor back to plug and play monitor but no dice...

I might be wrong but I think most all LCDs run at 60Hz. if you was getting something higher you was prolly overdriving the display, and that is not good... there is a way to figure a refresh rate on a monitor by using the Horiz. Rate and Vert. Rate but it slips me right now...

Since LCD monitors do not employ phosphors, refresh rate is not a concern. Basically, the transistors in the LCD remain open or closed as needed until the image changes. This can be a point of confusion for some consumers, however, since most graphics cards still "ask for" a refresh rate setting. This is due to the analog nature of existing graphic cards (see "Inputs" section) and their support for CRT displays. While refresh rates do not apply to LCD monitors, most LCDs are set up to accept any settings from 60Hz and above.

Refresh rate is a non-issue with LCD's.

Yes most are 60hrtz and should remain that way. Refresh is not the same as it would be on a CRT
