i have a p4 2.6 800mhz HT,ati x800pro, asus p4p800s and a antec truecontrol 550w and im having very low read outs in asus probe and in the hardware monitor of the motherboard
the read outs are : | VCORE: 1.568v || 3.3V: 2.912V || 5V: 4.569V || 12V: 11.552V | the cpu and video card arent oc'd everything is normal. someone please help..
 
you should always check with a multimeter as software/BIOS readings tend to be inacurratw
 
get a multimeter, and an ATX connector diagram and start probing voltage manually.

if the voltage really ARE that low, then you have a very serious problem.

at that point you should check if your PSU does the same thing on a different motherboard, and RMA the thing if it does.
 
if he is an electrician, then he has one.

hell, it might be good to let HIM prob it. hopefully your motherboard users manual contains a diagram of what pin has what voltage in the ATX block connected to your motherboard.

you or he should snake a probe into the 3.3 volt pin, and a ground pin, and check the readout. do the same for the 12 V and the 5 V.
