low profile 1156 cooler

the stock cooler on my dads i5 is LOUD and annoying....

the case is low profile... so the big zalman is out

is this my best bet?

How much clearance does the case have (especially in height) ?

I'm pretty sure the corsair hydro series can be mounted in a low-ish profile setup. definitely worth investigation.

The cooler you linked is actually pretty good and very quiet. I use that one in my HTPC. Huge improvement over the stock cooler.
