I have a Thinkpad T410s with the discrete Nvidia nvs 3100m. It sucks, I have heard installing the 310m driver can improve performance, how can I do this?

I have updated my notebook drivers to the latest nVidia 270.51 verde driver, but performance still sucks.

I don't know what I did but in the last week performance dropped massively, I can't even run my old games (eve) which worked fine before :(

And that also means I have to do it through device manager and select have disk correct?

Sorry for such noob questions, I am just so pissed
A few minutes ago my laptop just turned off because I think it got too hot or something...

I keep trying to select 310M, but it keeps saying it's not for this version of Windows
