Hey everyone.

Well Before I start I will just like to say This ia an awesome game, I really like it.

Now, although this is happening in all games I own perhaps one of you will know what it is because it also includes re orchestra.

My pc specs are
Intel Pent 4 3.2ghz
All-In-Wonder X800XL 256MB
1.25GB of ram
800bus speed
160 GIG HD (2x80 GIG)
Heatsink fan
gfx card fan
Dual harddrive fan
Fan on the side
large fan on the back
Pci slot fan on the bottem
400 watt PSU
Gigabyte MB 478socket

Basicly in all my games in runs like garbage and my settings are not even on maxed. Infact or RO 41-45 the gfx are on medium with shader set to blob and all the low end gfx enough for me to have decent play. I didn't always have these pc specs. Everything is pretty much different except 1 HD and my MB. The reason why I upgraded was for 2 reasons. One day my games started to run like crap and because my old pc was outdated.

Since December 28 is when the upgrades started to happen. After I got my gfx card and noticed nothing changed I thought it was time to upgrade everything. I Formatted my Prime HD moveing everything to my Slave HD.
After that didn't work I made my Slave my Prime and my prime my slave, so naturally I reinstalled windows.

Once that did NOTHING I completely formatted everything, bought new ram sticks and made a fresh start. I have NO viruses of any sort or spyware/adware. I have all the latest windows updates and yes my windows XP is a legal copy. The only things I haven't changed is one HD and my MB but the HD that I didn't change is my slave and isn't really in use except for some small programs which are like speedfan and such.

However before I changed my HDS aronud and reinstalled windows I used to get a random restart with messages like Error NFTS.sys and WIN32K.sys BUT the last restart I got was last thursday and it looked EXACTLY like this

if there is ANY solution to my problem and is something that I havent mentioned yet please let me know.

What is the model# of the Mobo?

Did you update the bios?

Are all the settings correct in the bios?

Use a HD utility to check HDD and check the ram for problems. Good luck.

Sounds like a possible bad IDE controller on the mobo?

Also, what brand PSU? You definitely have a lot of power pulling off that PSU for fans, vid, CPU, etc. Have you eliminated some all of the excessive fans to see if it helps performance?

400 watt PSu. I have a Gigabyte 478 socket motherboard

I had this problem even when I had a 300 watt PSU and I only got a 400watt because I though if I did it would fix my problem
