LOW FPS on COD 5

Hey everyone I just started playing COD 5 on my rig, with maxed settings at 1650x1080 i'm getting decently low frame rates. Some where between 30-45 at all times. I'm going to try reinstalling drivers, but am I limited in any way? Gaming on sig rig.

agreed. make sure to run a drivercleaner program. i use DriverCleaner.NET which works well.

Good luck on the drivers. Did other games perform normally? What are your temps at while playing?

Sorry to disturb you guys! It was drivers, I'm getting between 70-100 frames now, hasn't dropped below 70. Thanks!

If you want even more FPS, have a look at this site.

The CoD series, being derived form the quake engine, means certain FPS/MaxPackets combos allow you to jump further and move faster.

Three things to note:
- It's not good to raise maxpackets too high if you connection isn't good.
- You don't want max FPS to dip from what you set it or it will constantly interpolate between undesirable maxpackets settings.
- Tweaked ini's look like shit, and contain settings that drastically increase visibility that many consider to be cheating. (you can always change these variables to whatever you want though)
