Im in the market for a new pci-e video card and would like some feed back on some of the low end pci-e cards
im leaning towards a x300se right now

Whatever i get i know i dont want the "shared" memory or turbocache option

Im not going to be using the machine for gaming, its going to be running virual servers and the like, most of the time being accessed remotely.

I would basically like to know if anyone has had any problems with the lower priced video cards. I have always bought the midrange ones, feeling the low end cards are of lower quality.
 
Well, if by "problems" you mean that games won't look quite so pretty, then yes, low end cards have problems. But if you mean do they have hardware issues? No more than more expensive cards. They're fine for running a server.

I was more concerened with the compatabilty of a low end card Vs the gaming performance.
