I resurrected my brothers Dell Optiplex GX270 for him recently and he is getting low audio. It works but is extremely low. I had him pick up a PCI sound card and it done the same thing. I have gone through all the settings and double checked something isn't limiting it back... I updated the drivers and it tells me everything is working correctly... I tried his speakers and a set of Sony headphones. any ideas? I don't remember the complete specs but :

4GB Ram
40gb IDE HDD (Main)
160gb IDE HDD (Storage)
Win7 x86
