Low 3DMark03 scores

hey guys i keep getting a bad score on 3DMark03 (havent tried any other benching appz) and i dont know what part of my system is the bottleneck.

AMD Mobile 2400+ @ 2.3Ghz
2x512 DDR400 RAM 2.5-4-4-9
Abit NF7-S
MGE Vigor450 PSU
eVGA 6800 @ stock speeds right now

A bad score of what?

(ex. 3000 or 6000)

Anyway- I kept getting a bad score ( of ~2000) until I set my videocard to performance and set the "eyecandy" to application controlled. Then I got a score of ~6500. My system is in my sig.

Possibly, your CPU is causing the low score.
Also, I read recently on the forums that formatting helps in achieving a higher score.

i think its ur ram thats bottlenecking ur system, that 9 is really gonna hurt ur speeds...

Actually, the nf2 mobo's perform better at a higher setting for the last number. My a7n8x-x performed the best at a setting of 2,3,3,11. The 9 isn't going to hurt performance at all.

oh stupid me lol. my score is 7400 3dmarks. is this good or not? i dont think it is because when i play like mother nature it sometimes drops to like 10fps.

turn aa/af off, and you should get a good score of 10000 at leats

there is nothing on. no aa or af at all. i OCed it to 380/880 (ya pretty good huh) using coolbits and now i get a score just below 8400.

ummmm ur 6800 is NOT a gt and that is a good score for ur rig..... or am i wrong? 7400 is a goood score for a 6800nu and athlonxp right?
