I'm running an XP 3000+ @ 2.3ghz, Radeon 9800np, 2x512 Corsair TwinX PC3200 on an A7N8X Deluxe mobo, and I'm wondering about my 3dmark03 score. I got 4997, which seems low to me. I havn't OC'd the vid card yet. I'm also wondering the settings people use when they run 3dmark03, mainly the resolution. I used 1024x768. Am I getting a low score, and if I am, what's making it that way?

That isn't low at all. That is about right for a 9800np. I just ran it and got 4076, if that makes you feel any better. :p

That's about right for that card. If you want higher, OC it. My 9800 Pro hits 7200.:D

That's not a bad score. I only got a 4,306.

Maybe you're thinking about a score for 3dMark01. Try that and you should get like 15,000.

OK i think that is below what you should be getting.
I have a 9700pro, 2200+, 1GB dual channel, 80gb IDE
I get a score of over 5000 on 3dmark03 w/ VC core @ 340 and ram at 312(x2)

I would make sure you have DX9b, Most recent chipset drivers and VC drivers.
Also make sure your temps are low, maybe a overheating going on. Cooling unit on ATI cards SUCK!, if you have a 9700 or 9800 (not the XT or AIW) i would advise Artic Cooling VGA cooler, its $20 at newegg. This alone put my 3dmark03 score up a lot.

well your 9700pro is clocked higher than the 324 core and 290 ram, which is probably why you get higher
