Yeah seems low. I would think you should be around 16000-17000 mark. Hmm... KT3 Ultra? That's a via based KT333 motherboard isn't it? If so, do you have the 4in1's installed? Check to see if AGP texture acceleration is on in the dx properties. Go in start> run> type "dxdiag" and check the video display tab. There should be 3 listings in the center. 3 Buttons if you prefer with, Direct Draw acceleration, Direct3d accel. and AGP Texture Accel. Make sure they are all on. I remember having a problem with my drivers that didn't enable this for me. Or was broken, I lost about 3k on 3dmark 2001. Dropped me from 18k to 15k

lol yeah that sounds about right. I would have thought it to be a little higher, but with tweaking you could probably get it up more. But as long as your games run the way you would expect, or comparable to others, I would say you are fine
Btw, I wouldn't think that the hard drive would affect performance too much unless you really don't have the requirements met for that 3dmark version. Then pagefiling would just drop your score because of the loading. It would mess with average of the framerate numbers. Hope I answered your question.

Should pagefiling be disabled?
Here's what bugs me. I'm trying to get Doom 3 to run right. I set High Quality at 10x7 with Vsync off and AA off. The framerate is fine but every now and then the game stutters. It's really annoying.
Load times are also a pain.
