Loud Switching Noise on Startup/Shutdown/Res Change

I'm wondering if anyone else if getting a relatively loud 'switching' type noise coming from their monitors when they start up, shut down, or change resolution? I've been trying to run Monoprice 27" IPS/LED Monitors for a while now and have already had to RMA 2 of them for making an extremely loud switching noises. And when I say loud, it's crazy loud, like dropping a big book on a desk from a few feet loud.

This just a regular thing with larger monitors? Could it have anything to do with the GPU they're running off of (Gigabyte GTX 770/4GB)?
