I'm reminded of this bash.org quote:

#5273 said:
<erno> hm. I've lost a machine.. literally _lost_. it responds to ping, it works completely, I just can't figure out where in my apartment it is.

Every three updates or so I see one WU drop for about ~460 points. I have no idea where this box is or what it could be. Looks like uniprocessor points but I've never set up anything with less than SMP!

Could be someone with a similar user name mis-typed or something. This is worse than your quote because it could be anywhere in the world, not just on your network... :)

His bash.org quote is funnier though. If you can lose a machine on your lan in your apartment... you should fit in well around here!

Honestly these days with virtualization it is very easy to "lose" machines.

I am having the same issue.

1,274 points for one WU, but HFM say I should be getting nothing but 10k+ points per WU. My GPU gets 5,187 every time.

789 points for one WU at 12 am last night.

I do not know where this is coming from.
